The launch of "Cheerful Hearts" on Nov. 11, 2006 was a great success! A grand opening celebration was held at the home of Mely Ocampo where I shared my story through poetry and song. The evening was celebrated with friends and family who all came out to show their support. The party went on well into the evening and a wonderful time of fun, food and fellowship was enjoyed by all.

A warm, heartfelt thank you goes out to all of you who came. I would like to thank my family who flew in from out of town, and who helped me with many important tasks. Mely, who so graciously opened up her beautiful home and created the perfect elegant atmosphere. And Maureen, and her daughter Kara, who also came in from out of town and helped with food and set up.

I must also thank the individuals who worked fervently with me to make sure I would be up and running with everything I needed to open “Cheerful Hearts”. With out the physical, emotional and financial support of my husband Joe, this dream would not have been possible. Not to mention his awesome computer skills. Thank you for believing in me Joe!

Thank you so much Aimii, for helping me create a beautiful web-site, it has surpassed what I ever imagined, and to her husband Tom, who created my business cards and banner. Thank you Calvin for coming to my home and working way into the night to shoot all of the pictures for the web-site. And Thank you to Trish, my life coach who helped motivate and encourage me to move forward with my dream. Last but certainly not least, a very special thank you to Vanessa, who worked with diligence and great care to bring all of my visions and creations to life. I have been dreaming about opening “Cheerful Hearts” for ten years, and for many years I had no idea how it would possibly come to pass. But God is so awesome, in His perfect timing, He made a way. And now my dream has come true!!!! I am so very grateful!!!
